Annual Band Barbecue & Preview Show - (August) Our first major fundraiser of the year! Each student receives $2 per ticket sold directly to his/her band account to offset band expenses.
Spirit Nights - (Year Round) Let your friends and family know about our community Spirit Nights at local restaurants. Stop for breakfast, order out for lunch, grab an after school snack, take the family to dinner, or order ‘to go’ and a portion of the proceeds from each night will be returned directly to the Boosters or Band Dept.
October 1 Special Event - (October Special) We have been contacted by Professional Affairs to help host a special event for Sysco Foods employees at Dixieland Park in Fayetteville. We must provide 21 volunteers and will get paid $1,050 for the day. Per the number of hours worked, the proceeds will be divided among those of you who volunteer to be deposited directly to your student’s account to be used for band expenses. Contact Stephanie Boyd ASAP to get in on this deal!
Kathy White’s Homemade Sweets - (Holiday Season) If you are looking for some extra special homemade sweets to serve for the holidays or a special occasion, look no further. Our own Kathy White will donate 20% of price of her delicious tried, and true, sweets back to the Band Boosters. See items and contact information on the linked order form.
The 32nd Annual Old South Marching Festival & Competition is by far our biggest fundraiser of the year and as such, requires the volunteer efforts of every band student and parent.
BJ’s membership - (October/November) Join or renew your membership via this form by December 1, 2011 and the Newnan band will receive $5 for each membership or renewal!
Holiday Poinsettia Sale - (October/November) New this year! Earn money towards your band account and the general Boosters fund by pre-selling holiday poinsettias.
